We didn't start Pawna Lake Camp to build a hotel. We started it because we, just like you, were tired of the endless notifications, the traffic snarls of Mumbai and Pune, and the realization that the only "stars" we were seeing were on our phone screens.​One weekend, we packed a dusty tent, drove up to the edge of Pawna Lake, and pitched it right under the open sky. As the cool breeze off the water hit our faces, the sound of the city faded. Around a simple campfire, with local Maharashtrian food cooked by a villager nearby, we found something we hadn't felt in years: true, uninterrupted peace.​We knew we couldn’t keep this feeling to ourselves. And that is how Pawna Lake Camp was born.

We are a passionate team of local nature enthusiasts, hospitality lovers, and outdoor experts. We believe that a weekend getaway shouldn't feel like a chore to plan, nor should it break the bank.​We took the raw, untamed beauty of the Western Ghats and blended it with the comforts you actually need (clean western toilets, cozy bedding, and delicious, unlimited food). Today, we are proud to be one of the most trusted camping operators at Pawna Lake, having hosted thousands of families, couples, corporate groups, and solo travelers.
