Triangle tent camping is the “Goldilocks” option at Pawna Lake—offering more comfort and privacy than a standard floor tent, but without the high price tag of a luxury wooden cottage.
These tents are essentially semi-permanent wooden or MDF structures shaped like an “A,” often referred to as Glamping Triangles.
Why Choose a Triangle Tent?
regular tents that sit on the ground, triangle tents are usually built on raised wooden or cement platforms. This keeps you away from damp soil, insects, and crawling creatures.
In-Tent Amenities: Almost all triangle tents come with a ceiling fan, a light, and a dedicated mobile charging point—luxuries you won’t find in a standard tent.
Space & Ventilation: They are much taller than standard dome tents, allowing you to stand up or move around more freely. They typically feature a large door and sometimes a small window for better airflow.
Proper Bedding: Most sites provide a proper 3-4 inch foam mattress (sometimes even a low bed frame), along with clean pillows and blankets.
